Warning Signs of Human Trafficking

Signs of physical abuse, malnourishment, or exhaustion
Appears disoriented, confused, or fearful
Has an older 'boyfriend' or 'manager' who controls them
Carries hotel room keys, multiple phones, or large amounts of cash
Cannot speak for themselves or is always accompanied by a controlling person
Has tattoos or branding that may indicate ownership
Does not know their current address or location
Has scripted or inconsistent responses to questions
Shows signs of being coached on what to say
Appears to be living in a hotel, truck stop, or with multiple people

How to Report a Sex Offender Violation

Immediate Danger

If you or a child is in immediate danger, call 911 right away. Do not wait.

Registry Non-Compliance

If you believe a registered sex offender has moved without updating their address or is violating their registration requirements, contact your local law enforcement or state sex offender registry.

Report online child sexual exploitation, grooming, or suspicious adult contact with minors to the NCMEC CyberTipline at missingkids.org or call 1-800-843-5678.

Trafficking Suspicion
